Listen Give Initiative & Media Network attended the #WEBSUMMIT in #DUBLIN during the first week of November, 2015. We had the distinct pleasure of connecting with Scott Harrison, Charity:Water to hear his personal life transformation and how he has applied these life lessons to the important work he does, which is providing water to people of locales who do not have accessibility to drinking water on a daily basis. Additionally, Scott, shared his thoughts on possible solutions for partnership between men and women. What you hear in this interview, is important. From a man, who learned that by serving others, brings his life more meaning and quality. It also lends to the credence Listen Give has often shared, which is the importance culture and locale plays in the roles of men and women being in partnership with one another.
Scott Harrison has embarked on a new project, having people step into another’s story by viewing video in a manner where they experience the main character of the story and their environment; almost having the viewer forgetting where they are in the present moment. At, Listen Give, we have experienced Virtual Reality for the past few years; and when used in the manner Scott Harrison, speaks of, will have you thinking you have been transported to another place in time. When this type of technology is used to make a difference, it will bring humanity together in ways never thought possible.
